I'm always searching for new literacy ideas to motivate my students to read and write. On several sites I read about BoomWriter so I decided to investigate what it is all about. A guest author writes the starter chapter. Students write the following chapter within an allotted time anonymously. Their peers vote on the best chapter. The winning chapter gets added into the book which is then published. A great way to motivate students to write.
