This site posts current event stories and each story will have a connection to Science concepts. There is a classroom activities section that teachers can use as lessons and quizzes for students.

EdApps
Using apps and iPad in the classroom. This site has a page that gives 14 ways to use Garageband in class. One example is using voice over for movie trailers. There are also fun educational tidbits such as creating book trailers. Another tidbit is 13 ways to use imovie in the classroom. A lot to explore on this site.
